The Tube-Wringer is a powerful tool designed to get up to 35% more product out of even your largest tubes. Made in collaboration with its original inventors, Gill Mechanical, this beloved household staple features a limited-edition Dieux engraving and is hand-pressed in Oregon, USA, where it originated in the 1970s. 

With zinc-plated steel frames and metal rollers made with heavy-duty aluminum rods, this durable tool has the capacity to crimp tubes up to 2 ⅞” wide and can be used on tubes of all types, from skincare and toothpaste to tomato paste and art supplies. 

If handled with care, the Tube-Wringer should be the last crimping tool you’ll ever need. Because why buy something that’s going to break when you can just buy well, once?

1. Once your tube is almost empty, open the Tube-Wringer handles and place the tail of your tube between the gears.
2. Gently clamp down and turn the crank forward.
3. Continue cranking, dispensing product as you go.

Crank slowly to ensure controlled dispensing.

Before we knew it existed, we unknowingly tried to dupe the Tube-Wringer. Let’s just say it didn’t go well.

So our Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer, Charlotte Palermino, did some research and discovered that the original Tube-Wringer was invented and patented in 1971 by John Gill in Eugene, Oregon. Over 50 years later, Gill Mechanical is still family-owned and operated, continuing to produce the Tube-Wringer with quality parts sourced in America.

The more we learned, the more it became clear that the only way to properly make our own crimping tool was to partner with the originators. So Charlotte picked up the phone and made a call.
