Welcome to The Next Era of Deliverance.

Welcome to The Next Era of Deliverance.

Same powerhouse formula, lower price, new packaging.

In case you missed it, it’s been a busy few weeks for Deliverance 3-in-1 Repair Serum, our first-ever (and most-repurchased) formula. The price for the full size (30mL) went down from $69 to $62 and is now housed in a 100% aluminum canister. We also launched a 60mL jumbo size in the aluminum canister for anyone who can’t get enough Deliverance. It’s twice as large as the full size, but not twice the price ($89, $124 value).

New price, new size, new look. A lot has changed. But don’t worry, one thing is still the same: the formula. You can still expect the lightweight, melt-in-your-skin texture and clinically proven results: soothed skin and minimized appearance of redness, wrinkles, and dark spots.

So, you’re probably wondering: if the price for everything, from gas to groceries, is going up, how were we able to drop the price for Deliverance? The short answer: Economies of scale. Let us explain.

Econ 101: Economies of Scale

Quick economics lesson: all businesses have fixed costs. These are costs that stay the same regardless of how much product is produced. Think: rent, factory labor, tools. When you make fewer products, those fixed costs are spread out across fewer items. A higher production volume—a.k.a. creating more products—means that those same costs are spread out over more items, so the cost per item drops.

Here’s an example. Let’s say you want to make water bottles, and the fixed costs come out to $50,000. If you only make one water bottle, you would need to bake $50,000 into the price you sell it for. But if you make 50,000 water bottles, you would only need to recover $1 per water bottle to recoup your fixed costs.

Basically, making more products turns an expensive production process into a slightly less expensive one. This saves the business money and increases profits over time.

How Is This Related to Deliverance?

As Deliverance Repair Serum grew into a bestseller (thanks to you!), we were able to scale up production and reduce how much it costs us to make each unit. Most brands would quietly pocket those savings to increase profits, but we wanted to pass our savings straight back to you. If we’re paying less, you should be too, which is why we reduced the price of 30mL Deliverance by $7, from $69 to $62.

Why We Care About Price Transparency

Transparency is at the heart of our ethos. When our costs go down, we believe the price you pay should reflect that. Hopefully, this new price will not only give more people a chance to experience Deliverance but also serve as a thank you to our community for loving this formula as much as we do.

As always, you’re Dieux-ing great.
