Can Deliverance be used with vitamin C?

While our Deliverance serum can replace your vitamin C, it also can be used together if you really like the vitamin C you are using.Generally speaking, Deliverance can go on before or after your vitamin C topical. The layering of vitamin C with Deliverance is really just prioritized by the texture, meaning if the vitamin C topical has a thicker texture than Deliverance, it should go on after Deliverance.If the texture is the same as Deliverance, you can apply vitamin C before Deliverance. The main focus should be letting the vitamin C dry down before applying Deliverance to avoid possible irritation.

Can Deliverance be used with retinol or retinoids?

For retinoids like retinol and retinaldehyde, applying Deliverance before or after your retinol is fine.For prescription retinoids like Tretinoin, we recommend using Deliverance in the morning or on the days you are not using the retinoid. If your skin tolerates it, after about a week or two, you may apply Deliverance Serum post-cleansing your face, wait 20 minutes, and then apply a pea-sized amount of retinoid. (Gentle reminder: Always apply retinoids like Tretinoin to dry skin!)We always recommend incorporating new products one at a time, low and slow, and patch-testing. This especially applies when combining over-the-counter products with prescription-strength topicals. Deliverance is generally safe to use in tandem with prescription retinoids, but if in doubt, consulting with your dermatologist is always recommended.
