Baptism Gel Cleanser

Baptism is a revived take on cleansing. This gentle-yet-powerful formula thoroughly purifies skin without stripping it of moisture. Water-based, Baptism uses a gentle cleansing complex that lathers into a rich, creamy foam that easily removes everyday makeup and SPF. Glycerin and Betaine reinforce your barrier–leaving your face feeling reborn and ready to receive the rest of your skincare routine.

• Gentle, everyday cleansing
• Skin that’s sensitive, dry, combination, or oily
• A rich, creamy lather that won’t strip but effectively removes daily makeup and dirt

Morning and night, gently massage a couple of pumps of Baptism onto your face and neck, then add water to lather and break down any dirt or everyday makeup on your skin.

Rinse with room temperature water, pat dry, and follow with the rest of your routine.

Q: Should I pick Fragranced or Fragrance-Free?
A: If you love fragranced products, cleansers are one of the more “skin safe” options as they are rinsed off. If you have difficulty with fragrance and have reactive skin, the fragrance-free option was made for you. Read this blog post to learn more about the why on Baptism’s fragrance!

Q: Does it remove makeup?
A: If you’re wearing a full face of waterproof makeup we recommend using an oil cleanser first and using Baptism as a second cleanse. Otherwise, this is perfect for non-waterproof makeup, sunscreen, and everyday living!

Q: My skin doesn’t feel squeaky after using?
A: That’s how we designed it! Deep cleaning without stripping your barrier for a soft, fresh feeling. Skin is bouncy and reborn!

Q: Is it safe around the eye area?
A: Baptism is ophthalmologist tested, safe for sensitive eyes, and safe for contact lens wearers. Baptism is safe to use around the eye area, but we do recommend avoiding any direct contact into your eye, a reminder that the products you’re using Baptism to wash off can be sensitizing.

Q: Can I use Baptism with an oil-based cleanser?
A: Baptism is water-based. If you like to double-cleanse, we recommend using an oil-based cleanser for step one, and following up with Baptism as your water-based cleanser.
