At the heart of Deliverance are three heroes: 5% Peptide Blend, 4% Antioxidant Blend, and 4% niacinamide.
Our Peptide Blend, which includes 2% N-Prolyl Palmitoyl Tripeptide-56 Complex, 3% Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-52 Complex, passionflower, and white tea, is clinically shown to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and boost visible firmness for vital-looking skin.
The Antioxidant Blend pairs 1% Proprietary Encapsulated Cannabinoid Complex and 3% Water Lily Complex to calm skin and soothe irritation. CBD and Cannabinoids: How They Pertain to the Skin
So how did we land on cannabinoids? Before our clinical study, there was preliminary data that told us soothing skin was a promising effect of cannabinoids, but limited data on how they performed in topical formulas. We also noticed some key gaps in the industry:

Study type: Single-blind, 20 participants

Protocol: Induced irritation (erythema) was applied to specific skin areas, then treated with one of three cannabinoid complex doses, compared to a no-treatment control site.

Goal: Determine if cannabinoids visibly soothed skin, and if so, which dose worked best.
The results were clear:
- The control site (no cannabinoids) still showed irritation at Day 14.
- All three doses reduced visible irritation by Day 10.

The lowest dose brought skin back to baseline in as little as 5 days with once-daily use, making it the most effective of all.
That’s the dose we use in Deliverance. In this case, lower wasn’t just gentler, it was better.
We also have a very human reason for pursuing this research. Our co-founder and CEO, Charlotte Palermino, once had a stubborn allergic reaction that nothing calmed down, until she tested an early lab sample of our encapsulated cannabinoid blend. The visible improvement was striking, but anecdotal evidence isn’t enough. We needed hard data, and the study confirmed what Charlotte saw firsthand: dosing and stability matter just as much as the ingredient itself.
PS - While hemp-derived cannabinoids are federally legal in the U.S., Canadian regulations classify all cannabinoids as controlled substances, meaning we can’t currently sell Deliverance there. We’re hopeful this will change as research and policy evolve.
